Refund Policy
Raffle ticket purchases are final. Because each ticket represents an active chance to win the 2026 EPIC E40FX golf cart (hereinafter referred to as the "Cart"), Lake Dunlap Area Volunteer Fire Department (hereinafter referred to as "LDVFD") does not offer refunds or exchanges on ticket purchases except in the specific circumstance described below.
If the Drawing Does Not Occur as Scheduled
Under the Texas Charitable Raffle Enabling Act, if the drawing to determine the winner of the Cart (hereinafter referred to as the "Drawing") cannot be held on the date originally scheduled, LDVFD shall set a new date no later than thirty (30) days after the originally scheduled date. If the Cart is not awarded within thirty (30) days of the originally scheduled Drawing date, every ticket holder shall be refunded in accordance with the terms set forth below.
Refund Amount and Method
Where a refund is owed under the terms of this Policy, such refund shall be issued in the same form of payment originally tendered by the purchaser, in the amount of $50.00 per ticket:
- Tickets purchased in person by cash or check shall be refunded in the amount of $50.00, in cash or by check.
- Tickets purchased online or in person by card shall be refunded in the amount of $50.00 to the original card. The 3% card processing fee collected at the time of purchase is non-refundable, as such amount is remitted to the payment processor and is not returned to LDVFD upon issuance of a refund.
Lost or Damaged Ticket Stubs
Upon issuance of a ticket stub to a purchaser — whether delivered in person at an event or by mail via the United States Postal Service — LDVFD assumes no responsibility for any stub that is subsequently lost, stolen, or damaged.
Changes to This Policy
LDVFD reserves the right to modify, update, or amend this policy at any time without prior notice. Continued participation in the raffle following any such modification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms as posted.
